Nicolina is an emerging jewelry artist born in the heart of the Canadian prairies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her passion for creating jewelry was ignited during a visit to New Zealand in 2013 while on a meditation retreat where she met metalsmith Colin Forster who introduced her to hand fabricated jewelry design. Upon returning to her home in Vancouver, BC, Nicolina continued seeking an alternative style of jewelry education and met contemporary goldsmith Sasha Shkolnik, owner of Juvelisto Design. There, Nicolina began working as a silversmith, followed with a two year jewelry apprenticeship. Flux Jewelry Design came to life when Nicolina settled in rural Ontario in 2016, creating her own studio where she continues to build her jewelry collection and explore new techniques. Recent work includes roll-printing fabrics into metal, reticulation, origami, foldforming & Keum Boo.

Nicolina’s work is made from ethical precious metals and alternative silver alloys that are SCS Certified ensuring 100% recycled content.
