Nicolina is an emerging jewelry artist born in the heart of the Canadian prairies in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her passion for handcrafting jewelry was ignited during a visit to New Zealand in 2012 while on a meditation retreat. There she met metalsmith Colin Forster who introduced her to silversmithing. In 2016, she completed an apprenticeship with artist and goldsmith Sasha Shkolnik in Steveston, BC. Flux Jewelry Design came alive in 2016 when Nicolina left the west coast and settled in southwest Ontario creating a farm studio where she continues to build her jewelry collection and explore new techniques.
